Movie Review: Entourage (’15 Doug Ellin)

I must admit, I enjoyed the series Entourage during its entire run on HBO. But then do we really need a movie version of it? There is a hype behind this movie that is undeniable, especially for the fans of the show, the film is such a good throwback reminiscent. Now, the problem that occurs here is that the film never really had a tight narrative. While, sure the lead actors maintained their charm, Jeremy Piven’s hilarious (still) portrayal of Ari Gold and the visual quality is better, the total film felt forced than natural. It doesn’t also helped that there are tons of cameos in the film that looked unnecessary. I don’t know if I expected too much but I am pretty sure, I was left half-disappointed after watching the film. 5
