Movie Review: Jurassic World (’15 Colin Trevorrow)

Jurassic World!!!!!!!!!!

Jurassic World was a thrilling spectacle. No one should expect something philosophically smart in terms of script if you’re going to watch the film, so I never really thought that something like this could hold a solid entertaining narrative. No, it wasn’t a profound storyline but it was memorable, engaging and the visuals were better than the previous installments. I seriously enjoyed every bit of the film. It was action-packed. Chris Pratt is hot! The dinosaurs were adorable (I know I’m weird) and every single bit of the sequences were treated with deliberate attention of excitement and thrill. Plus, the film didn’t disappoint as it was a visual bombast. All in all, the film was a joy to watch and something that stayed faithful to the previous installments but still managing to keep it feel fresh, current and stylish. 8
