Movie Review: Vacation (’15 Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley)

Vacation was supposed to be a campy comedy film but none of it worked. It wasn’t campy nor it wasn’t funny. The film suffers with a bad writing, terrible flow and there’s just too much dead air that most of the time punchlines were well missed. The film’s plot is terribly flawed and the overall delivery was just a blah. I usually find Christina Applegate funny but in here she’s just blah. Not even Ed Helms or Michael Peña who I adore in Ant-Man helped survived a comedy film on the edge of sinking. I was excited with Chris Hemsworth appearance because well he is extremely hot but I find him being in this movie forced and bland. 3
