Movie Review: Hitman: Agent 47 (’15 Aleksander Bach)

Hitman: Agent 47… sucks. That’s the best description I could give the film after watching it. Sure, the film was crafted with some glossy and stylish visuals that is pleasing to the eyes but the lack of solid writing and the underwhelming story flow is very evident. The film is flawed. The script needed rework and the plot is nothing unusual. In fact, it was too generic with some sloppy editing and messy transition. Ugh. Rupert Friend, taking the lead is a disappointment for me as well. I can’t blame him, the material isn’t something he can really work around with. But a part of me as well thinks that Rupert himself here and big part of it is the film itself lacks personality. So yeah. 3.5
