Movie Review: Before We Go (’15 Chris Evans)

Before We Go is a charming treat for a Saturday date night or if you want to end your stressful day with a lovely smile. The directorial debut of Captain America is a nice treat. Sure, the film is quite generic and the script is stacked more on the appeal of its lead stars, but one cannot deny that it is indeed charming at its best. The script is formulaic and the premise is something that we’ve seen before but there is something pleasing in here. Mostly cos’ of the cinematography of it, and again Chris Evans is just genuinely charismatic! This isn’t a bad directorial debut from Chris, especially how it was crafted is not as sloppy as what others might have expected it to be. There’s something special here. 6.5
