Movie Review: The Intern (’15 Nancy Meyers)

The Intern is surprisingly a feel good one. It was a right mix of emotions and humor. Sure, story wise, it was flawed but the film was able to find an unorthodox chemistry between its lead and supporting stars. Anne Hathaway and Robert de Niro were a delight. They managed to keep the film light, funny and charming without even trying.Adam Devine and Nat Wolff were also a good treat. The film’s most successful bit for me is that it was relatable at some point. All in all, at the end of the day, the film was able to let you make a hearty laugh that seems to be a delightful effect of it. Nice. 7
