Movie Review: Bridge Of Spies (’15 Steven Spielberg)

Bridge of Spies surprised me so well. There is a sophistication to the craft that is simple yet maintaining the essence of what the goal is. It was solid. The writing was impeccable. The performances were strong. There is a sense of simplicity on the film that makes it easy to comprehend. Steven Spielberg has done it again. He worked his magic in brilliance of his craft. Tom Hanks was brilliant and that goes with Mark Rylance as well. They showed subtle yet solid delivery. Their nuances were spot on. Their layered performance is something I never expect to root for. All in all, Bridge of Spies is an enjoyable ride marking complex moments of history in its simplest illustrations. 8
