Movie Review: Brooklyn (’15 John Crowley)

Timeless, sophisticated and beautiful! Brooklyn is the typical love drama but it was a joyful ride. It wasn’t cheesy but had that classic strength. It wasn’t corny but instead played with its lead solid chemistry and fantastic performances. In particular, Emory Cohen and Saoirse Ronan were fantastic! The film tugs you to the heartstring with deft of emotional impact and satisfies the mind. Brooklyn is moving and pleasing. It was delightful, quiet but dramatically beautiful. With great writing, fantastic performances and solid cinematography, director John Crowley made a lovely film. 8
