Boyce Avenue is on a roll no? They have been uploading covers and covers and covers and covers on their youtube channel. This time, the band – mainly Alejandro – covered Sia’s current radio hit, “Cheap Thrills”. It is a typical stripped down cover from them but it is a lovely vocal one.

David Guetta has released his newest video and song and he invited the amazing Sia and breakout artist Fetty Wap into the fold. The three of them created a body humping, electro pop tune. The usual synth infused, electro sounding David style of music. Sia’s vocals were still top notch and the addition of Fetty Wap is an added color.

Sia released the official audio of her newest song that will be part of her up and coming album. Alive, the song’s title gives us a pop yet emotional signature ala Chandelier and Elastic Heart. While I think it lacks that hook or beat that made Chandelier a pop hit, this is still pretty. Sia sounded wonderful as usual.

This is something new from Travie McCoy. This time he collaborates with the “Chandelier” hit maker, Sia. This is fantastic! The track is build up for a radio ready tunes and it something you can really hear being overplayed on radios. Sia, as usual, sounded amazing! Travie’s rap verses added dimension to this. Wow. It’s been awhile since we had a Travie McCoy track and his song with Jason Mraz, “Rough Water” was hardly rated and played. Meh. Again, I hope this will be a hit any time soon.

For a special production during the season finale of Dancing With The Stars Season 20, Siblings Julianne and Derek Hough danced to the tune of Sia’s “Elastic Heart”. Sia was there singing the song herself. Such a talented song writer and vocalist. The production was slick and beautiful! It was adorable too especially when there is a counterpart for Derek and Julianne. Those kids are talented as well!

Today, Sia released her new song’s video, “Elastic Heart”, from her album 1000 Forms of Fear. The track sounded nice. It wasn’ta s intense as “Chandelier” but it still has the emotional invested quality that Sia sang it beautifully. It is also more commercial sounding, if not, it was more radio-friendly. But the biggest surprise(?) or should I say something that really caught my attention from the video is that Shia Labeouf was there. And what he does and wears are not the most attractive ones but the intensity and dynamic of his performance is pretty much impressive. Oh, the kid (Maddie Ziegler) from the “Chandelier” music video is also here. Both her and Shia were somewhat jn a cage having a little dance battle. Nontheless, I think the video speaks volumes of underlying message just like the song that I will decode one day.
