On TV: Gwen Stefani On Carpool Karaoke w/ Special Guests

Gwen Stefani is the special guest for this fun and one of my favorite segment of late night tv, Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. They sang some of Gwen’s biggest hits like Don’t Speak, Sweet Escape, the infectious Rich Girl and her new single Used to love you. More so the episode took a 360 degrees turn of fun when James invited two more very special guests. Nope this is not Pharrell nor Gwen’s beau, Blake Shelton. It is… wait for it.. George Clooney and Julia Roberts!!! OMG!!! They sang Gwen’s Hollaback Girl and belted out Queen’s We are the champions!!!

What a fun segment!

On TV: Idol Finale – Acoustic Medley

We all know that American Idol had its curtain call and what a way to end a series. It was fantastic! The productions were well thought and even if we are missing some crowd favorites that weren’t able to perform due to prior commitments, the show didn’t disappont at all.

In this segment, they gather some of the best vocalists that came from the show and perform acoustic covers from Lady Antebellum to Dolly Parton.

Hands down Carly Smithson and Jessica “freakin'” Sanchez stole the night with their exceptional performance. But to be fair, everyone were incredible that night. American Idol has really produced tons of talented singers that are overshadowed by less talented vocalists in the music industry now.

Anyway, watch Katharine McPhee (Season 5 Runner-Up), Casey James (Season 9 Top 3), Carly Smithson (Season 7 Top 6), Clay Aiken (Season 2 Runner-Up), Rubben Studdard (Season 2 Winner), Amber Holcomb (Season 12 Top 4) and Jessica Sanchez (Season 11 Runner-Up) slay this segment on Idol Finale.

On TV: Coldplay, Beyonce & Bruno Mars Performed on Super Bowl 50

Photo (c) CBS

Coldplay headlines their first Super Bowl with an assistance from all out performers Beyonce and Bruno Mars. This half time show is bursting with so much colors and vibrance. This is so flamboyant and lovely and colorful! Sure, Coldplay may not be the most boombastic performers on stage but they held up their own. Added touch is Beyonce and Bruno Mars slaying their parts and the last half of the performance is simple and fantastic!

On TV: Adele on SNL

Adele is the musical guest on last night’s SNL episode hosted by award winning actor, Matthew McConaughey. The British singer performed her two songs that were part of her recently released new album. She did a powerful vocal performance of Hello and When we were young. She’s so good!
